Basic Greens Recipe
- Beet greens kale, or swiss chard
- 1-2 cloves garlic olive oil
- lemon juice or umeboshi vinegar
Wash greens & if necessary, remove large stems (except for swiss chard), and chop into strips. Steam until tender (timing differs for each green). Meanwhile, chop 1-2 cloves of garlic and saute in olive oil over medium heat. Add the greens and continue to saute over medium heat for 5 minutes.
