Our Story

In 2006 goodfood2u nee Life Organic was born out of a desire to make it easy for Ottawa area customers to buy local and organic produce. We have been cultivating relationships with local farms ever since.

Family Run Business

Goodfood2u is owned and operated by Jennifer Williams and Yannick Carrière. Jennifer and Yannick had been loyal customers of the business from it’s early days in 2006. In 2013, when Jennifer and Yannick were expecting their 4th child they purchased the business from it’s original owner.

We are entrepreneurs, parents and believe that we can all take steps to mitigate climate change and tread easier on the earth. From 1999 to 2002 we lived and worked in Northern Ghana and saw the impact the climate change was having on food security. When we returned to Canada we vowed to do all that we can to minimize our impact on this beautiful earth.  We know that our purchasing decisions have an impact and we want to ensure healthy and sustainable food is produced and available, now and for future generations.
