Description
Wagyu Quebec animals are raised without the addition of growth hormones or antibiotics and are exclusively fed with regional products such as hay, spent grain (a mixture of barley, corn and wheat) and apple pulp.
Wagyu meat reveals such an exceptional taste that its reputation as the best meat in the world was quickly hailed by fine gastronomy. Great chefs as well as many connoisseurs have given it a palate that has been completely conquered both by the smoothness and delicacy of its taste, reminiscent of butter, and by its extreme tenderness. This is also ensured by a greater marbling which imposes its unrivalled flavor on the cooking.
The aging of the carcasses is 21 days in a controlled atmosphere.
